Job Title: Internal Communications Event Manager

Job Summary:

VMA Group is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Event Manager to join our team. As an Internal Communications Event Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal events and activations that align with our company's strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Event Strategies: Create effective event strategies and narratives that align with our company's overarching Internal Communications strategy.
  • Design and Deliver Internal Activations: Design and deliver regular internal activations and events to increase employee engagement and encourage two-way conversations between leaders and colleagues.
  • Coordinate Event Logistics: Plan and coordinate all logistics for events, including managing the events calendar.
  • Promote Internal Events: Promote internal events and activations using a variety of internal communications channels.
  • Manage Event Budgets: Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking expenses.
  • Source and Negotiate with Vendors: Source and negotiate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure resources within budget constraints, working with the procurement team as appropriate.
  • Measure Event Success: Complete post-event evaluations to measure the success of events by analyzing attendee feedback and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and events management to continuously improve strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Internal Communications Event Management: Proven experience in internal communications event management, with a strong understanding of event planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple events and projects simultaneously.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
