About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Urology Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist Team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Key Responsibilities

You will be a core member of the Urology Cancer MDT and provide high-quality holistic care, treatment, education, health promotion, and well-being to patients with urological cancer, while supporting their families and carers.

You will also be an expert resource to other healthcare professionals, offering advice and guidance on the management of urology cancer and the patient pathway.

Requirements

  • First-level RGN registration
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., ENB 998) or extensive experience
  • Education to Degree level
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications in oncology/haematology/palliative care
  • Evidence of recent professional development

Desirable Qualifications

  • Education or working towards Masters level
  • Clinical Examination Module at Level 6/7 or willingness to work towards
  • Psychological support training at level 2 Post
  • Registration Experience
  • Advanced communication
