Associate Non Executive Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Executive Director and Associate to join our Trust Board. As a key member of our team, you will bring fresh perspectives and expertise to support the development of our Trust strategy and the delivery of our services.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of our Trust strategy and objectives, ensuring they are aligned with our vision and values.
- Monitor the performance of our Trust and its Executive team, providing support and guidance to ensure effective delivery of our strategy.
- Chair Appointment Committees for Medical Consultant appointments, ensuring the highest standards of governance and professionalism.
- Work closely with our Council of Governors, holding us to account and ensuring our Board is accountable to our stakeholders.
- Be assured that our controls and information systems are in place to provide reliable and timely information to the Board about our financial performance, quality of services, and clinical performance.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for an individual with:
- Experience working in mental health services, particularly in CAMHS.
- Proven ability to implement quality and patient safety processes and systems.
- Appreciation of and commitment to promoting diversity and equal opportunities.
- Understanding of the Foundation Trust organisation and purpose.
- Demonstrable intellectual ability, commercial acumen, and political awareness.
