Validation & Integration Team Lead - SATCOM - Aerospace

Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Validation & Integration Team Lead to become part of a prominent organization in the space sector, focusing on satellite and space missions. This role offers an opportunity to significantly influence the evolution of computing technologies within the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the validation and integration processes for satellite communication payloads and embedded systems.
  • Formulate comprehensive validation and integration strategies.
  • Direct the complete integration workflow, from preliminary testing through to system integration and final validation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify and rectify any integration and validation challenges.
  • Guarantee meticulous documentation of testing methodologies, outcomes, and compliance standards.
  • Guide and mentor team members on industry best practices.
  • Effectively coordinate project timelines and deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and validation, specifically in satellite communication or aerospace applications.
  • Proficient understanding of validation protocols, testing methodologies, and system integration standards.
  • Expertise in RF testing and telecommunications system evaluation.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and software for integration and validation processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of satellite communication protocols.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RF systems and their integration into satellite communication payloads.
  • Understanding of digital communication principles and satellite communication standards.
  • Background in system-level design and integration.
  • Familiarity with 5G waveforms, DVB-S2X, CCSDS modems, DPDK, and VPP L2/L3 processing.
