About the Position:

We are in search of a seasoned Validation & Integration Team Lead to join a prominent player in the Space sector, focusing on satellite and space missions. Your contributions will significantly influence the evolution of computing platforms in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the validation and integration processes for satellite communication payloads and embedded processing systems.
  • Formulate comprehensive validation and integration strategies.
  • Direct the full integration lifecycle, from preliminary testing through to system integration and final validation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to identify and rectify any integration and validation challenges.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of testing protocols, outcomes, and compliance standards.
  • Guide your team in adopting best practices.
  • Effectively oversee project timelines and deliverables.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic background, such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration and validation within satellite communication or aerospace applications.
  • Proficient understanding of validation methodologies, testing processes, and system integration criteria.
  • Expertise in RF testing and telecommunications system evaluation.
  • Familiarity with test automation and software tools pertinent to integration and validation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of satellite communication protocols.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RF systems and their integration into satellite communication payloads.
  • Understanding of digital communication principles and satellite communication standards.
  • Experience in system-level design and integration processes.
  • Familiarity with 5G waveforms, DVB-S2X, CCSDS modems, DPDK, and VPP L2/L3 processing.
