Crime Victim Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Victim Care Officer to join our team at Adecco. As a Victim Care Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for victims of crime, working closely with other functions and partner agencies to provide the right support options, guidance, and information.
Key Responsibilities- Victim Support: Provide a quality service for victims to meet their individual needs and help them cope and recover from the impact of crime.
- Case Management: Thoroughly review all information on crime systems, including risk assessments, to inform and tailor support to meet individual needs.
- Communication: Communicate sensitively and effectively with victims, particularly those who are vulnerable or distressed.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other agencies, such as statutory, voluntary, and community organizations.
- Workload Management: Manage varied and complex workloads, with cases at various stages.
- Training and Development: Undertake necessary training and CPD to develop skills, knowledge, and understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
- Experience: Experience of dealing with a wide range of people from a cross-section of the community, in varying circumstances.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people.
- Collaboration: Experience of working collaboratively with other agencies.
- Planning and Prioritization: Proven ability to plan and prioritize a challenging workload.
- Criminal Justice System Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the Criminal Justice System and Courts processes.
- IT Skills: IT skills with the ability to use Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, etc.
