Bookkeeper & Business Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper & Business Manager to join our team at Reed. This role involves a blend of bookkeeping and business management tasks, requiring a detail-oriented individual with excellent Excel skills and accounting software experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Prepare daily payments for manager/partner approval, conduct bank reconciliations, and prepare cashbooks.
  • Bookkeeping and Data Entry: Manage data entry, including recording purchases and sales invoices, and perform day-to-day bookkeeping and business management for clients.
  • Tax and Royalty Analysis: Prepare VAT returns and conduct royalty analysis, assist with tour accounting and tour tax work, and prepare year-end bookkeeping files.
  • Leadership and Quality Control: Oversee the work of Junior Bookkeepers and ensure quality control.
Requirements:
  • Strong Excel Skills: Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
  • Proven Bookkeeping Experience: Proven experience in bookkeeping and business management.
