Client Support Consultant, Insolvency & Restructuring

Aon's UK Retail division is actively seeking a Client Support Consultant to become a vital part of our Insolvency & Restructuring team. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and will provide essential support to a growing team that assists Insolvency Practitioners and Receivers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard and prepare new clients effectively.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, addressing various insurance risks for Insolvency Practitioners.
  • Operate within the defined parameters of a Delegated Underwriting Authority, ensuring appropriate coverage and liaising with underwriters as necessary.
  • Ensure timely completion of renewals, adhering to established compliance processes.
  • Assess each client's service needs and collaborate with the service team to exceed service expectations.
  • Partner closely with Client Directors to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Strive to provide the highest level of service within your area of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of each client's business operations.
  • Cultivate a solid grasp of the Insolvency sector.
  • Manage client expectations by keeping them informed of progress and proactively addressing any issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in accordance with established procedures.

  • Identify client risks and ensure appropriate risk management and insurance solutions are implemented.
  • Consistently apply all agreed practices and tools while adhering to regulatory requirements and business processes.

Skills and Qualifications for Success

  • Previous experience in insurance, preferably within a brokerage environment.
  • Strong understanding of FCA Principles and Procedures.
  • Solid technical knowledge, particularly in major and pecuniary classes, Property/Casualty, and Combined.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver results accurately and on time.
  • Familiarity with Acturis is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment while meeting deadlines.
