About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide psychological support to students with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to support students' emotional well-being and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop and implement therapeutic interventions
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on psychological issues impacting students
  • Liaise with families and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students

Requirements:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (HCPC registered)
  • Experience working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Understanding of trauma-informed approaches and their application in educational settings
