Operations Officer Role at a London University

Signature Recruitment is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our client, a prestigious London university. This full-time position offers a hybrid working arrangement and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Faculty Office, including complex inbox management, meeting coordination, and data entry.
  • Organize and support meetings and events, arrange logistics, and prepare agendas and minutes.
  • Support day-to-day financial matters, such as purchase orders, expenses, and budget management.
  • Communicate university and external regulations and policies to staff and students.
  • Collaborate with Communications & Marketing to promote the academic work of the faculty.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the faculty and wider university.
Requirements:
  • Experience in higher education administration, with a focus on policy and data management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with all stakeholders.
  • Good organizational skills, with a methodical approach to work and attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient IT skills, including Microsoft packages and SharePoint.
