Position Overview
Due to ongoing sustainable expansion, our internal Design team is seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to enhance our established group, focusing on Water Technologies and asset management.

Key Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will oversee all project phases, from initial scoping and comprehensive design to execution, ensuring adherence to client requirements and current regulatory standards, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly solutions.

Our company is well-positioned in the industry, with a robust pipeline of projects secured.

Typical projects may include:

  • Upgrading legacy PLC/control systems
  • Replacing outdated MCCs
  • Constructing new water treatment facilities
  • Implementing MEICA enhancements to existing infrastructure

As part of a leading multi-disciplinary project team, your main duties will involve:

  • Developing innovative electrical and instrumentation/control designs
  • Collaborating closely with various engineering teams
  • Conducting safety assessments (Hazop) and similar studies
  • Overseeing EICA engineering contributions and evaluating design solutions for MCC, PLC, and instrumentation from both internal and external suppliers
  • Partnering with our construction and commissioning teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Providing technical expertise on EICA issues to the broader project team and senior management
  • Mentoring and nurturing the next generation of EICA engineering professionals

Qualifications
A degree, HND, or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required. Successful (or in progress) Professional Registration with IET, InstMC, or a similar body (IEng, CEng) is preferred. A valid driving license is necessary, along with a strong desire to advance your career and a solid understanding of British and European design standards.

Applicants should have a proven track record of at least 5 years as an Electrical Engineer, with experience in both design office and construction settings within the water or related process sectors.
