Job Description

As our next Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department to ensure exceptional service standards are met.

You will be a committed leader with a deep understanding of people, a distinct personality, and the ability to work in a structured way. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supervising the Front Office team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Providing exceptional guest relations, including receiving and recognizing all guests, including those requiring special attention.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships and communicating effectively with all departments.
  • Leading by example in attending to guest requests and striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
  • Working duty manager shifts as required, taking full responsibility for the hotel.
  • Assisting in conducting training for all Front Office employees.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Actively selling special promotions and facilities available within the hotel.
  • Ensuring department policies and procedures are understood by all employees and observed in tasks performed.
  • Communicating new and updated information regarding policies, rates, and general hotel information effectively.
  • Implementing the Accor values and customer vision to 'Offer the Best Service to Our Customers.'
  • Working flexible shifts, including nights and days, and being adaptable to changing circumstances.

In summary, you will be the face of Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel, welcoming guests and providing support and leadership to the Reception Team Members through coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure guest satisfaction by providing high-quality services with a warm and friendly approach.

Requirements

Work Experience:

* Experience in working in Front Office Reception within a hotel is essential.

* Experience with Opera Cloud is desirable.

* Passion for Customer Service.

* Excellent Communication Skills.

* Knowledge of Opera is required.

* Problem-Solving abilities.

* Friendly and Approachable demeanor.
