Position Overview

We invite applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate focusing on Machine Learning and AI, particularly in the areas of edge efficiency and explainable AI. Under the guidance of Dr. Yang Long, the successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge research aimed at developing novel solutions for data analysis, optimization algorithms, and enhancing data security against adversarial threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences through presentations and discussions, leading to the publication of research findings.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on research outcomes to various stakeholders, including academic and non-academic audiences.
  • Publish high-quality research outputs in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences and workshops.
  • Contribute to the formulation of research objectives and proposals.
  • Conduct both independent and collaborative research projects, fostering innovation and extending the research portfolio.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify research opportunities and develop new methodologies.
  • Address challenges that may hinder research progress by proposing creative solutions.
  • Establish connections with internal and external research colleagues to enhance collaborative efforts.
  • Manage personal research activities and resources while contributing to project planning.
  • Provide training in research methodologies to peers and students.
  • Supervise students and assist in evaluating their academic progress.
  • Promote a collegial and respectful working environment that values inclusivity.

Contract Duration

This position is fixed-term for a duration aligned with project funding availability.
