About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our Cambridge North City Nursing Service team. As a key member of our community care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care and interventions to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients with complex health needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these.
  • Work collaboratively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to Trust policies and NMC guidelines.
  • Participate in mandatory training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register.
  • Education to a minimum Level 5 Foundation Degree specific to Nursing Associate Practice.
  • GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • QCF in Care/Health & Social Care Level 2/3 or equivalent experience.
  • Completed Care Certificate.
  • Experience of in-patient services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Basic level of dealing with service users with complex health needs.
