As a Housing Financial Advisor, you will play a crucial role in managing the collection and prevention of housing-related debt, ensuring efficient debt collection processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debt Management: Manage the collection and prevention of housing-related debt up to an agreed threshold, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Process Coordination: Coordinate with Income Managers to ensure efficient debt collection processes, minimizing delays and maximizing recoveries.
  • Account Management: Manage and monitor the effective collection of housing, garage, former, and sundry debts, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Customer Service: Provide exemplary customer service at all times, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Payment Advocacy: Advocate the most effective payment methods tailored to individual customer needs, promoting financial inclusion and minimizing debt.
  • Financial Inclusion: Promote financial inclusion across the Eastlight resident community, providing education and support to customers in need.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with Income Managers on managing accounts up to an agreed threshold, sharing knowledge and best practices to achieve optimal results.
  • Project Support: Contribute to pertinent projects and perform other reasonable tasks within the Income team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with other departments, partners, and stakeholders for optimal case management, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
