Job Title: Conference and Events Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Conference and Events team at Celtic Manor Resort. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading small teams to deliver daily events, including conferences, meetings, and banquets. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service are delivered to our guests, and that every event is executed seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small teams to deliver daily events, including conferences, meetings, and banquets
  • Ensure the highest standards of service are delivered to our guests
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audiovisual equipment
  • Supervise staff to ensure they are aware of their duties and responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure their needs are met
  • Monitor and control event budgets to ensure profitability
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the event experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or events management role
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of event management software and systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
