About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Conference Porter to join our team at the Celtic Manor Resort. As a Conference Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events and conferences.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and break down meeting and banqueting suites to the highest standards
- Assist clients and guests with the movement of equipment
- Maintain equipment in a clean and satisfactory condition for client use
- Use health and safety equipment as needed
- Wear the appropriate uniform and adhere to health and safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer-facing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Valid driving license
