Job Title: Relief Support Worker

Creative Support Ltd is a leading provider of support services for individuals with learning disabilities. We are currently seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our team in Barnet, North London.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, including administering medication, assisting with daily living tasks, and promoting independence. You will work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and professionals to provide a coordinated and consistent service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as budgeting, shopping, and medication administration
  • Collaborate with service users, families, carers, and professionals to provide a coordinated service
  • Respond to the needs of service users in line with Person Centred Plans and adapt to changing needs
  • Encourage and support service users in expressing their needs, views, and concerns, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions
Requirements:

Previous care experience is essential for this role. Successful candidates must attend mandatory induction training courses before beginning in the role. A car driver is preferred, but not essential, to support client engagement with the Barnet community.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
