As a qualified Social Worker within the Older Adults Team, you will be dedicated, innovative, and focused on a person-centered approach. You will thrive in a collaborative environment that values mutual support, sharing of experiences, and continuous professional development.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough assessments to identify individuals' needs, strengths, and potential risks.
  • Evaluating safeguarding referrals and making informed decisions.
  • Overseeing a diverse caseload while providing guidance to Case Workers and Senior Case Workers, offering expertise on intricate cases.
  • Fostering positive and professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

What we seek in a Qualified Social Worker:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • A comprehensive understanding of applying a strengths-based methodology.
  • Knowledge of social work challenges, legal frameworks, and the statutory responsibilities of social services.
  • A commitment to embodying the values and behaviors of our organization.
