Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs, strengths, and risks
  • Triage safeguarding referrals and make decisions.
  • Manage a complex caseload whilst providing supervision for Case Workers and Senior Case Workers and practice advice on complex cases.
  • Build positive and professional relationships. 

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:

  • Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England (SWE). 
  • Successful completion of an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE) programme, if qualified as a social worker after June 2012. 
  • A sound understanding of how to apply a strengths-based approach. 
  • Understanding of social work issues, legal frameworks and social services’ statutory duties. 
  • Commitment to demonstrating the organisation's values and behaviours.
