Job Title: Qualified Social Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring the best outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring they meet the needs of the children in their care.
  • Conduct regular visits to foster carers, assessing their ability to provide a safe and stable environment for children.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support foster carers and children, promoting positive outcomes and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including supervision reports and household reviews.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with experience of working with children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with foster carers, children, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and records.
