About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in the senior living industry? Discovery Senior Living LLC is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our community in providing exceptional care and services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Community Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with company standards, federal and state regulations, and local laws.
  2. Customer-Focused Vision: Develop and implement a clear, customer-focused vision for the community, based on a resident-centered model of care.
  3. Business Development: Identify and build relationships within the local area to drive business into the community, effectively price the product, and maximize top-line revenue growth.
  4. External Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement an effective external business development strategy, with clear accountabilities assigned, to maximize referral leads and move-ins.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the community has a thorough working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures, and ensures compliance.
  6. Financial Management: Meet financial targets, maximize capital partners' return, and manage key, non-labor operating costs in line with budgeted levels.
  7. Departmental Oversight: Oversee all departments, maintaining full responsibility for efficient operations and compliance with the financial goals established in the approved Operating Budget.
Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, Hospital Administration, or a health-related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of three years of managerial experience, preferably in the senior living, health care, or hospitality industries.
  3. Leadership Skills: Previous management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, and discipline.
  4. Sales Experience: Previous sales experience preferred.
  5. Administrator License/Certification: Administrator License/certification.
