Job Title: Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our Resource Engineering team at NEC Software Solutions.

About the Role

This is a significant role that requires a dedicated team member to support and maintain NEC Public Safety solutions. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Fault finding NEC Public Safety's DSX & Vision product suite of solutions at both hardware and software levels.
  • Answering queries made by customers on NEC Public Safety managed products, operational/configuration, or performance enhancing.
  • Providing proactive maintenance of NEC Public Safety systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience at either 1st or 2nd line level of a service desk environment.
  • Experience of shift working, including day and night shifts.
  • Proven experience administering and working with Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server up to 2016.
  • Practical experience in TCP/IP network support.
  • MS Business Applications experience, including Excel, Visio, and Word.
  • Proven experience working to ITIL best practices.
