Shift Leader Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco Partners. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing store activities, coordinating a team to deliver exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run duty shifts and ensure the store is fully stocked and clean.
  • Co-ordinate a team to deliver a great shopping experience for customers.
  • Monitor and improve store performance, identifying areas for growth and implementing solutions.
  • Support the Store Manager in managing absence, ensuring seamless store operations.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, Area Managers, and People Partners to drive business success.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Tesco Partners' products and services.
