We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team at Taylor Root in the UK. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal support to our clients across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiations on complex commercial contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for all parties involved.
  • Provide expert guidance on legal matters, including real estate and regulatory compliance, to support our clients' business growth and success.
  • Support the development and implementation of our clients' compliance and ESG programmes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our clients' business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments, ensuring our clients receive the most informed and effective legal advice.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong drafting, negotiating, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and navigate complex business environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
