Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with an established business based in the UK, who are looking to expand their finance team with the addition of a Treasury Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Download bank statements on a daily basis and perform thorough analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyse and categorise bank statement transactions, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
  • Investigate and resolve all unreconciled items within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Perform root cause analysis to understand the underlying reasons for any issues.
  • Conduct debt purchase and third-party collection bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, providing excellent communication and customer service.
  • Maintain an appropriate control environment, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and risk management.

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • A working knowledge of accounting double-entry and reconciliation processes, including experience with relevant software and platforms.
  • The ability to interrogate and analyse large data sets, identifying trends and patterns.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality and precision.
  • Previous reconciliation experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and reports.
  • Previous experience with Oracle or ERP systems, with a strong understanding of financial software and systems.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
