Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with an established business based in the UK, who are looking to expand their finance team with the addition of a Treasury Assistant on a full time, permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Download bank statements on a daily basis and reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Analyse and categorise bank statement transactions to identify discrepancies and resolve issues within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Perform root cause analysis to understand the reasons behind issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

• Conduct debt purchase and third-party collection bank reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate processing.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build relationships and maintain an effective control environment, including compliance and risk management.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all reconciliation activities and transactions.

Requirements:

• A working knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping processes.

• Ability to interrogate and analyse large data sets to identify trends and discrepancies.

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliation activities.

• Previous experience in reconciliation and financial analysis is essential.

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Oracle or ERP systems is desirable.

• Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
