Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Treasury Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Treasury Reporting and Analytics team, you will play a critical role in delivering best-in-class modelling and reporting to internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver stress testing modelling and reporting for the Group and its entities, including balance sheet and income modelling, management information, and analysis to support risk exposure decision-making.
  • Support the explanation of key drivers behind risk exposures in stress testing to Finance and Risk partners.
  • Suggest and support the continuous development of models and applications used for stress testing, prioritizing between inbound change, regulatory change, and operational improvement.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Risk and Finance partners to support the delivery of quality and timely reporting in stress tests.
  • Responsible for handling and implementing robust processes to support team objectives, including reporting, controls, and management information.
  • Act with attention to detail and control to minimize operational risks via robust control frameworks underpinning processes, escalating and providing visibility to known risks.
  • Continuously challenge existing processes to identify operational improvements to enable time for value-adding activity and qualitative review.

Requirements

  • Financial/Treasury background with an understanding of stress testing and experience using QRM.
  • Broad understanding of Treasury-related financial risks and ability to interpret complex datasets, communicating clearly to different audiences.
  • Highly motivated individual with a planning and forecasting environment and analytical mindset, consistently achieving results under tough circumstances.
  • Good understanding of Excel functionality and capabilities to proactively review, challenge, and streamline existing models or build new modelling capability.
