Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with an established business based in the UK, who are looking to expand their finance team with the addition of a Treasury Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Download and analyze bank statements on a daily basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Categorize and reconcile bank statement transactions, investigating and resolving any discrepancies within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

• Conduct root cause analysis to understand issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

• Perform debt purchase and third-party collection bank reconciliations, working closely with relevant stakeholders to build relationships and ensure effective communication.

• Maintain an appropriate control environment, including compliance and risk management, to ensure the integrity of financial processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• A working knowledge of accounting principles, double-entry, and reconciliation processes, with experience in using relevant software and platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate and analyze large data sets.

• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Previous experience in financial reconciliation, preferably in a similar role, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• Familiarity with Oracle or ERP systems is desirable.
