SEND Teaching Assistant Role in Ealing

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a student with ADHD in a welcoming Primary School in Ealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide focused 1:1 support to the student, helping them stay engaged and on track with their learning in a classroom setting.
  • Implement tailored strategies to manage attention, behaviour, and emotional regulation, ensuring the student can fully participate in school activities.
  • Work closely with teachers, the SEN team, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that address the student's unique needs.
  • Monitor the student's progress, adjusting support as necessary, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the development of the student's social skills and self-confidence, helping them build positive relationships with peers and staff.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with ADHD or a related interest in supporting students with behavioural and attention difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with the student and collaborate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping the student overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
