Position Overview

Are you an experienced Advanced Practice Physiotherapist eager to contribute to a progressive and innovative healthcare setting? Key Responsibilities

Innovative Clinical Practice: Leverage your advanced clinical skills to manage a diverse and intricate patient caseload. Collaborate closely with seasoned rheumatology consultants, gaining insights and mentorship on the latest evidence-based treatment methodologies. Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of rheumatology care within our community service.

Streamlined Patient Care: Be a vital contributor to our one-stop clinics, working in direct partnership with consultants. These clinics are designed to enhance patient care, supported by point-of-care ultrasound technology. Address non-inflammatory or persistent joint issues that are typically referred to secondary care. Develop personalized treatment strategies, incorporating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches. Effectively triage referrals from general practitioners, ensuring optimal patient direction.

Integrated Community Approach: Engage with a cohesive community service that encompasses Musculoskeletal (MSK), Pain, and Rheumatology. Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care. Provide specialized guidance throughout the care pathway.

Research and Educational Engagement: Participate in clinical research initiatives to further medical knowledge. Conduct educational sessions aimed at increasing awareness of rheumatological conditions.
