Cromwell Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a Nurse Specialist in Pain Management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pain management services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Care for acutely unwell patients in surgical settings, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work autonomously and as a team player, making independent decisions on pain management plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, serving as a role model for high standards of patient care.
  • Function autonomously with senior pain specialists' guidance, leading the pain team and ensuring out-of-hours care includes pain management plans.
  • Maintain high-quality patient care and provide specialist knowledge and education in pain management, contributing to audits and service improvement.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Adult/RGN (essential)
  • Genuine interest in inpatient and paediatric pain management
  • Teaching/training experience, evidence of continuing professional development
