Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Pain Management team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Pain Management Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pain management services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-focused, evidence-based care to patients with complex pain management needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pain management strategies and protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and students
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • BSc Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for profession
  • Evidence of post-graduate continued development in specialist clinical area
  • Membership of specialist interest group
  • Substantial postgraduate experience at a Band 6 level, including within specialist area
  • Knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches for the management of patients within specialist clinical area
  • Awareness of cognitive behavioural approaches to rehabilitation
  • Experience of group work and leading a team
  • Highly effective written communication skills
