About the Role:

Altus Partners is delighted to be partnered with a prestigious investment platform in the search for a Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Group Finance Director in a newly created opportunity.

This will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape over the next 12 months. The business and opportunity will be fast-moving and highly acquisitive, supporting broadly across the remit of control, M&A, strategy, and driving change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the CFO, CEO, and other senior management to oversee the financial operations of a complex business structure and diverse portfolio.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide insightful analysis to drive decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management strategies and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial role within the finance services industry, upwards from Group Finance Director in similar size and scale.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.
  • Solid grasp of financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
  • ACA, ACCA, or Chartered Accountant qualification.
