About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Care Agent to join our team at ABM UK. As a Customer Care Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airport services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Passenger Support: Assist passengers requiring special assistance throughout their airport journey, including escorting them through security, passport control, and to their boarding gate.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure wheelchairs are replenished and well distributed throughout the terminals and storage points.
  • Communication: Greet passengers, ask about their assistance needs, explain the process, and prepare them for airport procedures.
  • Flight Transfers: Assist passengers transferring flights.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with the control and supervisor team, recording any additional passengers, and liaise with airline and handling agents during delays or disruptions.
  • Equipment Safety: Use equipment safely and professionally.
  • Manual Assistance: Provide manual lifting assistance as required.
  • Progress Recording: Record the progress of passengers using the Personal Digital Assistant issued.
  • Equipment Accountability: Be responsible for all Company equipment issued to you on a daily basis.
  • Incident Reporting: Complete an incident/Accident Report for any issue encountered, including near miss events.
  • Customer Service: Provide legendary service to all passengers.
  • Uniform and Sign-in: Wear uniform correctly and follow the correct sign-in/out process.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working within Customer Services, ideally in a customer-facing role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • DBS Check: Must pass a DBS check.
  • References: Must be able to provide 5 years' reference information.
