Job Description

Role Overview:

The Facilities Sales Specialist will be responsible for delivering sales and margin growth on all aspects of facility supplies, including janitorial, chemicals, and catering, across the South region. This will involve accompanying field sales teams in their new and existing accounts to achieve targets set by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside a team of Account Managers/Corporate Account Managers to grow sales and margin on the facilities supplies sector.
  • Make recommendations on improved cleaning and hygiene products and equipment to ensure customers are efficient and effective.
  • Monitor sales performance and activity levels and produce monthly reports detailing key result areas, including pipeline and sales forecasts, leads, and wins.
  • Maintain appropriate records on clients and sales activities on the CRM system.
  • Support the team in effective new business bids/presentations.
  • Provide quotes and ensure that enquiries are followed up in a timely manner.
  • Ensure retention of all live profitable accounts within the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the facility supplies industry.
  • Experience in selling chemicals and washroom supplies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Complete products and services, competitors, and the market.
  • Full driving license.
  • Proven sales and profit achievement against sales targets.
