About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at Sussex Partnership. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with adult mental health conditions.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in adult psychiatry, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold CCT or CESR at the time of interview or in an established training programme and within six months of CCT.
  • Inclusion on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT or CESR (CP) at interview.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
