We are seeking a highly skilled General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Coastal West Sussex Care Delivery Service. The successful candidate will be based at our Community Assessment and Treatment service team at The Bedale Centre, Bognor Regis, West Sussex.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals, providing high-quality care to adults of working age from Bognor Regis and the surrounding areas.

The role offers a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to a relocation allowance of up to £8,000. The payment is pro rata for part-time employees.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the Trust-wide consultant network and access peer support from colleagues in West Sussex.

The team works closely with other services in the local area, including the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team, the Liaison team, and acute in-patient services.

This role can also support any interest in research, development, medical education, or special interests that the successful candidate may have.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the specialty and be able to demonstrate achievement in education, research, audit, or service improvement.

The successful candidate will be required to have MB BS, GMC registration, and entry on the specialist register or within 6 months.
