Job Summary

The Broadcast Assistant will play a key role in supporting the Broadcast Operations Team at ATP Media, a leading broadcast production company in the tennis industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the booking of contribution and distribution services, tracking transmission data for billing, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and production departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Broadcast Operations Team in planning and coordinating ATP tournaments, including booking contribution and distribution services.
  • Log transmission timings, technical reports, and accurate costs for billing.
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers to coordinate bookings for contribution and distribution via satellite, fibre, BT Tower, and SRT.
  • Troubleshoot booking extensions, cancellations, or transmission failures.
  • Provide up-to-date information to broadcasters, including tournament schedules, orders of play, distribution details, and live note updates.
  • Cover the Broadcast Operations Team post-tournament with timely responses to rights-holders and day-to-day activities.
  • Attend international tournaments in a working capacity, as required.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Good IT skills and ability to adapt to multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Desirable: knowledge of broadcast bookings and global distribution methods.

Working Arrangements
