Nashrock Insurance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Professional Liability Underwriter to join our team in London. As a key member of our Professional Liability team, you will be responsible for executing underwriting strategies across a diverse portfolio, developing and expanding business globally, and building strong relationships with intermediaries and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute underwriting strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, clients, and other stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships.
- Analyze risks, set pricing, and conduct thorough policy reviews to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business plans and strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years' experience in professional liability or related roles.
- Proven ability to develop and grow business, with a strong track record of success.
- Proactive, independent decision-making skills, with a deep understanding of the professional liability marketplace.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative work approach and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly focused, enthusiastic, and creative thinker, with a skilled negotiator and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
