At IDEX Consulting Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Professional Liability professional to join our close-knit and diverse London Market team.

About the Role

The Senior Professional Liability Underwriter will be responsible for analysing risks and underwriting both new and existing business across multiple territories, including the UK, the US, Canada, and ROW. The ideal candidate will have an extensive underwriting background and be able to negotiate with Brokers and clients, develop business, and work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse risks and underwrite new and existing business
  • Develop business across multiple territories
  • Build relationships with Brokers, mainly Global and mid-tier
  • Set pricing
  • Review policies
  • Travel on occasion to meet with Brokers and clients
Requirements
  • Extensive underwriting experience
  • Ability to negotiate with Brokers and clients
  • Develop business and work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Think creatively
