About the Role:
- Support service users from initial contact to ongoing treatment and recovery
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop recovery plans, and facilitate referrals to relevant services
- Implement strategies to reduce harm associated with substance misuse among service users and the broader community
- Promote engagement and involvement of carers, service users, and community members
- Provide advocacy for access to partnership services and support social reintegration
- Collaborate with service users to foster recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination
About You:
- Hold a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and relevant work experience
- Demonstrate excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- possess a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and best practices
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work in partnership with various professionals, agencies, and stakeholders
- Effectively manage change, prioritizing the needs of service users
- Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to necessary safeguards
- Seek opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the learning and development of others
