Core Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense and validate prescription medications
  • Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
  • Provide patients with information on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
  • Participate in various NHS services, including vaccination programs
  • Collaborate with local healthcare professionals to develop effective medication strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards
  • Maintain accurate patient records and Controlled Drug registers
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes through quality enhancement
  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations, guiding and developing your team for branch improvement

Compensation and Benefits

  • Standard shifts of 7.5 hours from Monday to Friday
  • 4-hour shift on Saturdays (either weekly or alternate weeks)
  • Competitive hourly wage ranging from £25 to £30
  • Expected weekly working hours
  • Complimentary onsite parking
  • Incentive bonus program

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Registered with GPHC
  • Motivated and enthusiastic pharmacist
