Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacist to join our team at a private hospital in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate pharmacist to provide top-notch pharmacy services in a renowned healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive pharmacy services at The Cancer Centre, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  2. Lead the pharmacy service, including dispensary services, aseptic production, and inpatient/outpatient services, driving excellence and efficiency.
  3. Review patients in the chemotherapy day unit and Haematology/Oncology Ward, providing expert clinical guidance and support.
  4. Manage and develop the Pharmacy team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  5. Work closely with the Deputy Pharmacy Manager and represent the pharmacy within and outside the hospital, promoting our services and expertise.

As a Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology Services, you will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £55,700 to £72,000, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits, including:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Registration with GPhC.
  2. Postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
  3. Specialist knowledge in oncology, aseptic production, and haematology.
  4. Experience working within a hospital setting.
