Dietitian Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Dietitian to join our dynamic team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutritional advice and support to patients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional assessments and support to patients through various means, including ward visits, telephone consultations, and written communication.
- Liaise with relevant teams and attend meetings to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Contribute to the development of evidence-based resources, policies, and guidelines.
- Deliver training sessions to ward staff on dietary management of patients requiring nutritional support.
- Undertake education and training sessions for patients, carers, nursing staff, catering staff, medical staff, and other health professionals as required.
- Participate in dietetic audits and undertake professional development activities.
- Support the training of Student Dietitians.
