Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Dietitian to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Specialist Paediatric Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing expert dietetic care to children with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dietetic interventions within the Paediatric Allergy Team.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver an effective dietetic service to patients and their families.
  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within the team.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of education and training programs for junior staff and students.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Dietitian who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric dietetics, with experience of working with children with complex needs.

The successful candidate will be a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and will have a strong understanding of paediatric allergy and nutrition. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
