Interim Sustainability Director

Panoramic Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability professional to lead our client's sustainability agenda. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with our client's goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a 'Net Zero' delivery strategy and pathway, leading the delivery of the sustainability plan.
- Engage with stakeholders to develop a delivery strategy to reduce energy and carbon use across the council estate.
- Work across the council to implement sustainable construction and refurbishment principles.
- Provide guidance to estate and facility colleagues during the development of investment programmes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, energy, and sustainability legislation.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications to enhance internal and external communication of sustainability goals and targets.
- Establish and lead the council's officer sustainability delivery group.
- Identify funding and grant solutions for sustainability and carbon reduction projects.
- Develop partnerships and relationships with public sector stakeholders and specialist groups to grow the sustainability agenda.
