HW Interim Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team on a 6-month interim basis.

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of quarterly and annual Group statutory financial statements, executing ad hoc transaction accounting, and preparing local GAAP/IFRS statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and lead in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Manage and oversee the preparation of all required regulatory filings and disclosures.
  • Ensure compliance with external reporting requirements, including monitoring changes in financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Effectively communicate financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the financial reporting process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the wider team with technical expertise relating to transaction and project-based accounting.
  • Become a source of technical expertise for the Group on financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • ACA qualified with proven experience working within a Financial Services organization.
  • Exposure to IFRS9 accounting.

This role will be delivered on a day rate and will be based in a hybrid arrangement, with 3 days per week onsite. The ideal candidate must be available immediately or within the coming weeks.
