About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unit Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of exceptional food and customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise teams to ensure the highest standards of food quality and customer service
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
  • Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
  • Support and train teams to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Excellent financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
