Job Title: Unit Food Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced Unit Food Service Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Unit Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering and service operations in a school setting, ensuring exceptional food and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including managing inventories and monitoring budgets
  • Communicate regularly with the line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams to exceed expectations
  • Support and train teams to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years management experience in a similar sector or industry
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
